[rtl]Basra / NINA / The Director General of the General Company for Ports of Iraq, Engineer Farhan Al-Fartusi, discussed with the Director of the General Company for Grain Trade affiliated with the Ministry of Commerce, Dr. Haider Nouri, the strengthening of joint cooperation, and the opportunities available to allocate berths for importing grains in Al-Faw Port and develop the berths in Umm Qasr.
The company's general manager said, "The ports strongly support all government institutions in order to provide the best services to the Iraqi citizen and support the national economy."
He continued, "We discussed the possibility of allocating berths for importing grains at Al-Faw port and developing the berths in Umm Qasr," noting that "allocating berths for bulk goods comes with the aim of reducing costs and raising revenues."
He pointed out that the General Company for Iraqi Ports is working to form business partnerships with government institutions with the aim of supporting the national economy and providing better service to the citizen. / End[/rtl]
