Yesterday, Saturday, the Ministry of Interior announced the registration of 36 million citizens on the national card until the first of this month. The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior and the Security Media Cell, Brigadier General Miqdad Miri, said in a brief statement, “The Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence in the Ministry of Interior announces the registration of 36 million citizens on the national card until the first of this March.”
Earlier, the Ministry of Interior decided to extend the work of identification documents until April 1, 2024, “with the aim of making more room for citizens,” stressing, “The work of the national card departments in Baghdad and the governorates will continue to provide the best services to visitors and reduce the burden on them.”
