Today, Sunday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed the work on preparing a new law for landlords in line with the requirements of the labor market.
The head of the committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, said in a statement, “The Parliamentary Finance Committee held an important meeting to resolve the content of the second reading report of the Twenty-First Amendment Law to Landlords Law No. (25) of 1960.”
He stressed, "The committee is serious about completing the second reading in tomorrow's session to speed up the approval of this law, which serves a wide segment of citizens."
Al-Atwani added: “Our vision is to proceed with this amendment, provided that work is underway to prepare a new law for owners that is in line with the requirements of the labor market.”
