, the representative of the Islamic Union Party, Dara Sikanyani, accused the Kurdistan government of stealing Baghdad’s money allocated for the salaries of the region’s employees and transferring it to external accounts that invest private interests.
Sikanyani said in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News, “The Kurdistan government stole Baghdad’s money allocated for the salaries of the region’s employees and transferred it to external accounts that invest private interests.”
He added, "The daily rights of the Kurdish citizen are being violated by the two main parties, the Democratic Party and the Union, without any deterrent, and Baghdad must accelerate the implementation of the federal decision to settle the salaries of the region's employees."
