    Kirkuk Governorate has referred 80 percent of its service projects included in the 2023 plan to implementation, while referral and contracting procedures for the remaining 20 percent continue in accordance with the instructions and controls for selecting companies.
    Kirkuk Governor Rakan Saeed Al-Jubouri said: The governorate has completed the referral and contracting procedures for a package of projects that constitute 80 percent of the service plan included for the year 2023, and has currently reached the direct stage for implementation on the ground.
    He added that the projects included several sectors, and the governorate was keen to distribute them fairly among the regions, districts and sub-districts.
    He stated that 14 percent of the projects were allocated to the roads and bridges sector, 13 percent to the municipality to create green spaces, and two parks in the city, as well as pedestrian bridges and the development of private river banks, and 12 percent of the plan was allocated to the municipal sectors in the districts and districts, and 3 percent to furnish the city streets, set traffic signs, and plan Streets, while the percentage for the electricity sector, such as projects to install stations and remove bottlenecks, was 16 percent, and 7 percent for the health sector, in order to establish specialized hospitals with a capacity of 25 beds in the Alton Bridge district and another in Mahooz in the southwest of the governorate, as well as strategic hospitals, to provide health services, and 8 percent. To rehabilitate institutions, 6 percent for the education sector, 5 percent for water, and 4 percent to equip specialized mechanisms.
