The Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee reported that despite the legislation of the drug pricing law, the examination and pricing of drugs did not realistically exceed 10%, while it indicated that the pharmaceutical company “Kimadia” did not exceed 30% of the supply of drugs to the public sector of the country’s total need due to the lack of financial allocations. A member of the Parliamentary Health Committee, Alaa Al-Rikabi, told “Al-Sabah”: Despite the legislation of the drug pricing law, so far only 10% of drug pricing has been completed, noting that there is a problem, which is that the drug pricing law has examined all the medicine before it reaches the consumer so far, and it is an effort.
