In the first visit to the current government, many political and popular parties criticized the files presented by Al-Sudani in the round of meetings with the American administration, regarding the almost dead economic and commercial situation, while he did not address the most prominent file regarding the request for the withdrawal of American combat forces from Iraqi lands, in light of the lack of confidence in implementing the treaties and agreements concluded with Washington, and the strategic agreement that has been a dead letter on paper for two decades not long ago, in addition to the deliberate impudence of the American President in defending the Zionist entity and helping it confront all attacks directed at it.
*Occupation forces!
Speaking about this file, Ali Al-Fatlawi, a member of the Al-Fatah Alliance, confirms that the Sudanese government is required to find alternative ways to remove the American combat forces from the country, adding that Iraq still considers the foreign forces present on its territory as occupied.
Al-Fatlawi said in an interview, “The continued entrenchment of the occupation forces on the chest of Iraq requires planning and a new system in order to end it completely,” noting that “practicing procrastination and delaying the exit file will end the calm of the current Islamic resistance.”
He continues, “The issue of implementing the withdrawal of American forces on the ground cannot be negotiated with America at all,” pointing out that “the trust that the Sudanese carried to Washington was to find a true and realistic formulation to begin removing those forces from the country.”
Al-Fatlawi continues his speech: “The lack of seriousness by the United States of America in removing military forces from the bases will push the Iraqi Islamic resistance to move again,” adding that “Iraq still considers the foreign forces present on Iraqi territory to be occupied.”
*Where is the withdrawal file?
In addition, political analyst Qasim Balshan commented on Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sawadni’s meeting with US President Joe Biden, while stressing that Al-Sudanese’s failure to raise the issue of removing US forces is very strange.
Balshan said, in an interview, that “Washington still controls the Iraqi airspace, and many military files until now,” wondering “about the reasons for the lack of security leaders and military escorts with the Iraqi delegation during the visit.”
He continues, “Iraq’s main problem with America is the military presence inside Iraqi territory, regardless of the economic and commercial files,” pointing out that “Al-Sudani is required to deal firmly with the American administration, which has clearly shown its lack of intention to remove its combat forces from the country.”
Balshan concludes his speech: “The government’s visit so far has not achieved any of the hoped-for goals, which are a tourist delegation to America,” noting that “the Sudanese not raising the issue of removing the American forces is extremely strange.”
Many political and popular parties criticized the Sudanese’s failure to address discussions on completing the schedule for the removal of American forces from Iraqi territory, during yesterday’s meetings with Biden, amid warnings of continued procrastination and procrastination from America.
