    The Ministry of Communications, on Tuesday, signed a contract with the company "Atom" to protect communications in Iraq, cases of penetration and espionage and development so special security measures, and as pointed out that the company is the exclusive agent for Airbus France, showed that the contract comes within the framework of the revitalization of the private sector in the country and activating the partnership with the public sector.
    The agent said Communications Minister Amir al-Bayati said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "it was the signing of a contract between the Ministry of Communications peace Company and Atom, which is the exclusive agent for the French company Airbus, within the framework of partnership between the public and private sector," noting that "the Convention included the development of the security side through communication and fortify the protection of penetration and espionage cases that potentially affected, especially that Iraq is facing a fierce battle with terrorism. "
    Al-Bayati said, "The ministry has to imagine and believe we need to open up to the private sector," pointing out that "the reality of communications in Iraq evolved considerably from what it was before the fall of the regime in 2003, especially since there are some telecommunications companies have achieved widespread success in providing communications service in the country".
    Al-Bayati said, that "there is a major development in communications and determined the private sector to keep abreast of all the developments taking place in the world, especially Wen Iraq is about to announce the fourth license in the field of communications."
    The Ministry of Communications, revealed in the (the tenth of January 2016), its intention to implement a number of projects during the current 2016, to improve the Internet and international telephone services, indicating that it is negotiating with a company to extend optical cable nautical third.
    The Ministry of Communications announced in the (second from October last in 2015), its contract with seven equipped with Internet companies, in order to ensure the achievement of the competition and provide better service to all the provinces, expected to contribute to increasing the quality of service and lower their prices mid-year the current 2016.
