[ltr]Oil prices closed lower, Thursday evening after data showed an average increase in oil exports from southern Iraq to 3.494 million barrels per day, and also increase the basic stocks of crude in the United States.[/ltr]
[ltr]Prices slipped after the company Zhinskab market information reported an increase of 255 thousand and 804 barrels in oil inventories at the Center for American delivery futures in Cushing, Oklahoma in the week ended.[/ltr]
[ltr]This increase came in spite of the Trans-Canada on Saturday to close the Keystone pipeline, which carries 590 thousand barrels per day of crude oil to Cushing and Illinois. The company ordered the closure of the pipeline for fear of a possible leak.[/ltr]
[ltr]Oil prices came under pressure and also data from a higher average oil exports from southern Iraq appears to 3.494 million barrels per day since the beginning of April from 3.286 million bpd in March.[/ltr]
[ltr]Despite this, investors were resorting to purchases to cover short positions in futures contracts for Brent and US crude, which pared initial losses by more than half.[/ltr]
[ltr]And it ended the World London Brent crude contracts for low trading session up 41 cents, or about 1 percent to a record at the settlement of $ 39.43 a barrel after they fell more than a dollar, or about 3 percent earlier in the session.[/ltr]
[ltr]And shut down the US Brent crude contracts for West Texas Intermediate Low 49 cents or 1.30 percent to $ 37.26 a barrel after they had plunged to $ 36.69 at the lowest level in the session. Ended 29/42 g[/ltr]
