    President of the National Coalition , Iyad Allawi stressed the importance of finding effective solutions to the political crisis in the country.

    A statement by the office today that Allawi ", received in his office in Baghdad, Australian Ambassador to Iraq Christopher Mann , for you, and discussed with him the current situation in Iraq and the region and in the forefront of the war against terrorist groups, led by the organization Daash."

    Allawi said during the meeting "the need to pay the political part in the battle against Daash 's very important in parallel with the military battles of Iraq and the international coalition and within the State of Australia 's friendly against terrorist groups, stressing the priority of work to find effective solutions to the political crisis experienced by the country."

    For his part , Australian Ambassador "for his country 's concern about the repercussions of the humanitarian situation in the current battles against Daash and fears of post - expulsion of the organization, pointing to the need to support the displaced and trapped."

    The statement pointed out that " the meeting may Atsem positive, as the two sides agreed to continue meetings and consultations on various issues."
