[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed Khudhair al-Da’mi of the Hurra Iraqiya Slate called the Prime Minister to issue one-year stay to the Syrian refugees in honor of their positive attitudes with the Iraqi refugees during the past years.[/ltr]
[ltr]Da’mi said “Our Syrian brothers stood side by side with the Iraqi families which had escaped the violence some years ago and provided them with all kinds of support.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“Due to the exceptional situation Syria is experiencing, we called on the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to grant the Syrian refugees one-year stay guaranteed by the Iraqis and cancel the residence fees and some routine procedures,” he added.[/ltr]
