Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Kareem Alewi, of the Iraqi National Alliance called “The Parliament Chairmanship to endorse the laws that serve the citizens and respond to their ambitions during Thursday session.”
He stated to IraqiNews.com “The Chairmanship must speed up the endorsement of the laws that serve the citizens due to remaining short term of the current Parlaimentary rotation.”
“The agenda of last Tuesday session was not satisfactory due to the lack of the important law drafts,” he added.
“Tuesday session was not successful because it did not involve discussion of laws like the Infrastructure law, Parties law or the law of criminalizing Baath Party,” he concluded.
The parliament is supposed to hold its regular session on Thursday to vote on and read a number of laws drafts.
