    Economy News - Baghdad
Minister of Labor Ahmed Al-Asadi confirmed today, Sunday, the continuation of the launch of the student grant, while announcing the imminent launch of a campaign to return school dropouts.
Al-Asadi said in a speech that coincided with the start of the new academic year, which was followed by “Al-Iqtisad News”: “We congratulate our students on the start of the new academic year, and we are continuing to launch the student grant, the number of beneficiaries of which has reached two million and 300 thousand.”
He pointed out that "nearly 15,000 students have dropped out of school," stressing that "a campaign to bring back dropouts is about to begin, and anyone who does not return to school will have their student grant cut off."
