Ministry of Labor completes disbursement of student grant

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has completed the retroactive disbursement of student grants after the financial allocation was provided.
Ministry spokesman Najm Al-Aqabi told Al-Sabah: The number of students covered by the grant is 2.3 million students, for whom an amount of 85 billion dinars has been allocated.
He added that the ministry has completed the process of disbursing and distributing the university students’ grant for three months, and the grant for the remaining three months will be launched with the care salary for next September.
He added that the Ministry of Education students' grant was also launched for six full months, and the remaining three months will be delivered in the coming months if the financial allocation is available.
