{Politics: Al Furat News} Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed with the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization strengthening digital strategies in Iraq.
Al-Sudani's media office stated in a statement received by {Al-Furat News} that "the latter received the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, where discussions took place on pushing Iraq towards digital transformation within a comprehensive strategy for digital business and artificial intelligence.
Al-Sudani stressed that the government has laid the foundations for digital transformation and worked on this file in more than one path, noting that digital transformation has been included in administrative and economic reforms and what relates to electronic payment.
The Prime Minister added: "Iraq is capable of developing this sector and achieving a qualitative leap in it, and we are open to cooperating with the organization in creating projects that serve Iraq and the region within the framework of digital transformation and artificial intelligence."
