    Launched today at the Al - Rasheed Hotel in Baghdad , works of the national team to a fund for social development , development in Iraq in the presence of Mahdi Keywords Secretary General of the Council of Ministers and the support from the World Bank and the membership of the private sector represented by the Iraqi private banks association government and the presence of the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. 

    Where the World Bank will help to develop and set up the fund at the request of the Iraqi government for the purpose of supporting local initiatives and reduce the poverty rate. 

    He said Mahdi Keywords in his speech that this Fund This fund aims to support efforts to improve living conditions and opportunities for the poor and vulnerable groups in Iraq , local initiatives. 

    In addition to providing employment opportunities through training programs and programs for lending to small and medium enterprises. 

    He also noted Keywords to success ful Baghdad Initiative, which ended the designs for the rehabilitation of 20 Square funded by private banks under the patronage of the Central Bank of Iraq, one of the first initiatives of its committees are formed , headed by representatives from the private sector, where he heads the committee Goodwill Ambassador Professor Naseer Shamma . 

    In a statement to the economy of News Mr. Wadih Handal said on the sidelines of the meeting , the ambition of the private sector to be involved in this project are impressive addition to the involvement of civil society organizations sober and started working for a long time on the ground and reached the target groups by this fund.
