Shafaq News / The US Embassy in Baghdad on Sunday that the president of the United States, Donald Trump confirmed during the conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi his country's support for the Iraqi people in the common fight against al Daesh.
According to the statement, the Trump Cdaly strengthen the United States Army. President Trump congratulated the Iraqi forces on the recent progress in Mosul.
The statement added that the two leaders discussed the strong partnership between the US and Iraqi army as well as the great sacrifices made by both countries. Both talked about the threat that Iran poses to the entire region.
They also reiterated their commitment to a long-term partnership between the United States and Iraq on the basis of the strategic framework between the United States and Iraq agreement.
