(The phone call to President Obama summary with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi)
President Obama spoke by telephone today with Iraqi Prime Minister Acanutorhaidar Abadi, stressing the United States to support the Iraqi people and our fight against the common Daash. President Obama also offered condolences on behalf of the American people to the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in Baghdad.
The two leaders discussed the progress that has been achieved in the fight against Daash campaign, where Iraqi security forces continue to progress in Anbar province. The president reiterated US support for Iraqi security forces, stressing that while the campaign lasts, the United States and the international coalition to confront Daash will continue to carry out their key role in the field of training, advising and assisting Iraqi forces.
President Obama agreed with the prime minister on the vital importance of improving the Baghdad international zone security, Mchiran the importance of continuing dialogue between all parties in Iraq until the Iraqi people can realize their aspirations, which aspires to it through its democratic institutions.
