    Deputy President of the Republic Iyad Allawi, on Monday, "angrily" the threat of liquidating the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr, indicating that the national symbols that carry the people's message in freedom is not threatened by the threat of steadfastness and defiance .
    A statement issued by Allawi's office said that the latter "condemns and deplores the most despicable methods adopted by some forces at home or from behind the borders and aims to suppress the opposition and reformist national voices through the cheap methods of terrorizing and threatening the assassination." And the imposition of unilateral will and the return of Iraq to the atmosphere of dictatorship and the liquidation of opponents and stifled calls for change .
    Allawi condemned the threat of the assassination of Muqtada al-Sadr, saying that it was "a continuation of the series of targeted assassinations and abortions that are exposed to the sincere national forces and their followers in the reform and face corruption and building a nation of citizenship on the rise of justice and equality and the rule of law and renounce sectarianism and discrimination and hatred."
    "The national symbols that carry the people's message of freedom are not threatened by more than steadfastness and defiance," he said.
    Allawi expressed his "solidarity and solidarity with His Eminence and by all lawful means, as always, to all attempts to suppress political pluralism and dreams of return in Iraq to the time of dictatorship or the dependence of the state on the will of armed groups."
    Three days ago, southern provinces witnessed demonstrations to support Sadr in protest against the assassination attempt in addition to the influx of thousands of Baghdad and those provinces on his home in Najaf to confirm their support for him and prepare to protect him .
    On Monday, thousands of people gathered from Baghdad, where they gathered outside his home in the Hananah district of Najaf. Sadr went out of his house and greeted the protesters and called them loyalists who raised slogans expressing their support for him and their willingness to sacrifice for him, including "die and live Moqtada" .. and "our souls to you Fdak." Sadr's home has seen thousands of supporters and supporters from various southern cities protesting his assassination attempt .
    Al-Sadr said during a rally in Tahrir Square last Friday, a number of commandments to his followers and demonstrators related to the possibility of his assassination, calling them to continue the "revolution of peaceful reform" to eliminate corruption and read the Koran to his soul. For his part, a spokesman for the leader of the Sadrist movement Jaafar al-Musawi yesterday on the presence of internal and external bodies behind the threat of Sadr .. He confirmed his knowledge of those bodies, but did not name them .
