    , Rasheed Bank decided Tuesday, the highest interest to the owners of high balances in its branches all calculated, indicating that the move comes in order to increase deposits and invest the surplus.

    The bank said in a statement Alsumaria News received a copy of it that " the Bank 's Board of Directors today approved the increase in the interest rate on balances of savings accounts amounting to 50 million Iraqi dinars and above," adding that "interest will on these amounts to 5%."

    "The move comes in order to increase deposits and invest the surplus and attract the largest number of customers , " noting that "previously decided to cancel the requirement of witness identification and geographical area to open a savings account."

    Most of the citizens refuse to put their own money in government banks as a result of the lack of benefits set by government banks, in addition to the standard routine to open the account.

    Rasheed Bank, announced on Tuesday, for higher interest to the owners of high assets in its branches all calculated.

    According to a statement of the bank "Economy News" received a copy of it, "The Bank's Board of Directors approved, today, on a study to increase the interest rate on balances of savings accounts amounting to 50 million Iraqi dinars and above."
