Shafaq News / Iraqi Parliament voted on Thursday on the first amendment of the military service and retirement law.
“The majority of the parliament has voted on Amendment No. 3 for 2010,” a parliamentary source told “Shafaq News”.
The amendment provides equality of veterans and new retired military men
.
The Iraqi parliament has passed 2009 pension law and military service that stipulated that a person belonging to the military institution must be from an Iraqi father and mother.
