JAPAN: A North Korean missile may have landed in the Special Economic Zone

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said North Korea had fired a missile that may have landed in his country's special economic zone.
Shinzo Abe said a meeting of the National Security Council would be held and that his country would take all necessary steps to ensure the security of its citizens.
The Pentagon said on Friday it had detected a North Korean ballistic missile and was conducting an assessment to gather more information.
Captain Jeff Davis, a Pentagon spokesman, said the launch took place at around 10:45 am EDT
