Transport announces the opening of an air route between Baghdad and Basra to Russia
The Minister of Transport Kazim al-Yamami, Monday, close to the opening of an air line from Baghdad and Basra to Moscow and the rest of the Russian provinces and vice versa, pledging to open several new lines in the near future.
Al-Hammami said in a press statement that "it is hoped in the coming days to inaugurate an important air line, between Baghdad and Basra to Russia and vice versa," noting that "the line will enable Iraqi civil aviation to enter European airspace."
Al-Hamami added that "the line will open the horizons for the Iraqi traveler in the study, treatment, tourism and trade, because of the country's advanced scientific and economic dimensions, praising" the efforts made during the discussions and discussions that were conducted in order to complete the procedures of opening this line. "
Al-Hamami pointed out that "there are several new lines will be opened soon."
