Iran tests new anti-missile system coming into service soon

Iran has tested its new anti-missile system "Power 373" similar to the Russian S-300, which will enter service by March 2018.
"The whole system has been completed and the tests have been completed," Air Force Commander General Farzad Ismaili was quoted as saying by Iranian state television.
"The system is entirely made in Iran and some parts are different from the S-300," he said, adding that the Iranians wanted to use it in parallel with the Russian S-300.
Iran has launched a project to build its new missile defense system "Power 373," after Russia decided in 2010 to suspend the contract of delivery of Iran "S-300" because of the sanctions .sf
