Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliament postponed voting on the proposal for amending the elections law till next Thursday.
Parliamentary source stated to Iraqi News Monday “The Parliament postponed voting on a proposal for amending the parliamentary elections law no. 16 for 2005 till the session of the Parliament of Thursday due to lack of agreement on this amendment.”
The source added “The Parliament also decided to postpone voting on a law draft to oblige the Independent High Electoral Commission to make the necessary preparations for the next parliamentary elections in 2014.”
