Nikkei gains 304 points by end of trading and settles in a week

[rtl]Japanese stocks rose at the end of Friday's trading, with the Nikkei gaining 304 points in line with the yen's decline and economic data.[/rtl]
[rtl]At the close of trading, the Nikkei rose 1.4% to 22,802.2 points, while the index remained stable throughout the week.[/rtl]
[rtl]The TOPIX index was up 1801.8 points, or 0.9%. [/rtl]
[rtl]By 6:15 am GMT, the yen was down 0.3 percent at 113.41 yen. [/rtl]
[rtl]Economic data showed today that Japan achieved economic growth on an annualized basis in the third quarter higher than the initial estimates by 2.5%, compared to the previous reading by 1.4%.[/rtl]
[rtl]Economic growth also rose by 0.6% on a quarterly basis, while preliminary reading showed a 0.3% increase.[/rtl]
