    [ltr]The Iraqi Ministry of Defense and the Interior Ministry has issued an arrest warrant against senior officers in the two ministries, including former defense minister and current air force commander, in the fight against corruption, which Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said would be "the next battle" "Cheers."[/ltr]

    [ltr]Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi recently renewed his government's keenness to eliminate corruption in state institutions. He said the battle against him would not stop and "we will win it as we have won the battle against terrorism."[/ltr]
    [ltr]On the other hand, emerged yesterday, signs of a breakthrough in the crisis between Baghdad and Erbil received Interior Minister Qassim Araji delegation from the Kurdistan region. Brigadier Saad Maan, spokesman for the Interior Ministry, said the meeting was consultative and coordinated on joint action and implementation of the contents of the constitution.[/ltr]
