    [ltr]Turkey and Austria have pledged to work to improve relations that have been reversed by the opposition of the far-right government coalition in Austria, Ankara's accession to the European Union.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Austrian Foreign Minister Karen Knessell held talks in Istanbul with her Turkish counterpart Mouloud Zhaoshoglu in the first high-level contact between the two sides since the new Austrian government took office.[/ltr]
