Lavrov: US presence in Iraq will increase

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed his belief that the US presence in Iraq will increase despite the early American statements on the complete withdrawal of the armed forces from this country.
Lavrov said in an interview with the channel "Euro News", that "under the presidency of Barack Obama, the United States announced a full withdrawal from Iraq. Now the presence has resumed, and will increase. "
Lavrov stressed that "the external presence of the United States not only recedes, but also expands in the military dimension," and among the countries where the United States maintains its presence, Syria and Afghanistan.
On the other hand, Lavrov said the United States should close the 55-km conflict prevention zone around the town of Al-Tanf in Syria, which is home to the Al-Rikban refugee camp, which, according to many facts, is used to train and entertain militants. Ending / 25
