Wage growth accelerated in the United States during March

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics released Friday that the average wage of US employees rose by 8 cents in March to $ 26.82 an hour.
On a year-on-year basis, average US wages rose 71 cents in March, or 2.7 percent, from 2.6 percent in February.
The average number of hours worked remained steady at 34.5 hours in March, the statement showed.
According to the statement, the US economy added 103 jobs below expectations of 188 thousand jobs, amid the stability of the unemployment rate at the lowest level in 17 years.
By 12:50 GMT, the US dollar was up against the euro by more than 0.1%, with the single European currency falling to $ 1.2226.
