[ltr]German Development Minister Gerd Mueller arrived in Erbil on Sunday after a visit to Baghdad to discuss relief files for displaced people and return Iraqi refugees to their country.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Mueller arrived at Erbil airport from Baghdad this afternoon to discuss relief files for the displaced and return Iraqi refugees to their country," a reporter for Mawazin News said.[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "the Minister of Development will meet with officials in the Kurdistan government and will visit some of the displaced camps adjacent to the province of Nineveh."[/ltr]
[ltr]German Development Minister Gerd Muller announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Iraq to repatriate the Iraqi refugees who are being deported following a meeting in Baghdad with senior state officials, pointing out that Berlin's goal is to support "10,000 Iraqis to create opportunities" in their country.
