[ltr]The Kurdistan Democratic Party of Massoud Barzani on Thursday backed the nomination of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi for a second term in the political consensus that will emerge after the parliamentary elections on May 12.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The political consensus and alliances are the most prominent feature of the formation of governments in Iraq, and our support for the slaves to get a second term or not will be based on post-election consensus," said MP Khoshoy Khalil in an interview with Mawazine News.[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "his party is trying to re-form the Kurdistan Alliance again," but added that: "But it also succumb to the desire of the Kurdish parties in the region and electoral programs that are consistent with our electoral program."[/ltr]
