Shafaq News / The coalition of state law, led by Nuri al-Maliki, on Sunday, his position on the nomination of former leader of the Supreme Council Adel Abdul Mahdi as prime minister.
"There is no reservation by the state of law on the character of Adel Abdul Mahdi, he is an acceptable figure and has a known political history," MP Ali al-Ghanmi told Asharq Al-Awsat.
Al-Ghanami said that "the next prime minister will be the consensus between all political forces," noting that "we support the nomination of Adel Abdul-Mahdi as prime minister, if nominated by the coalition building, or if it is a consensus candidate among all political forces active and important."
