Britain is to send 150 troops from the 1st Battalion of the National Guard, based in the city of Hampshire, to Iraq, the British newspaper "Portsmouth" reported on Wednesday.
"Additional British forces will go to Iraq next June on a six-month mission as well as a Deto II security team who will protect British troops during their training mission in Iraq," the newspaper said in a translation.
She added that "the contribution of British forces will see the participation of soldiers in different parts of Iraq in Taji, Basmaya and Arbil."
The newspaper did not mention the number of protectors from the security company that will accompany British troops and how much the total number of British troops and their protections. Ending / 25 z
