Tehran warns Pyongyang of US promises
The Iranian Foreign Ministry has warned North Korea to take care of the American promises that might result from the upcoming North Korea-US summit in Singapore.
"Tehran supports peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and supports any step in favor of the stability of the region, but we can not trust the United States to call on North Korea to be cautious about the American promises," Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi said.
The US administration announced on May 8 its withdrawal from the nuclear agreement with Iran and the resumption of all the sanctions suspended as a result of reaching this deal, which was denounced by the rest of the European countries signed the agreement, and insisted on remaining in the Iranian nuclear agreement and full implementation .
