Oil falls as US production rises
Follow - up / ... Oil prices fell during trading Thursday, with the arrival of US production record high last week, despite the significant decline in US oil inventories more than expected.
US oil production rose to a record 10.9 million barrels last week, offset by an increase in demand, which reduced the pace of price declines.
Data from the US Energy Information Administration showed a sharp decline in US oil inventories by 4.1 million barrels to 432.4 million barrels last week, ending on June 8.
Brent crude for August delivery fell 0.46 percent, or 35 cents, to $ 76.39 a barrel by 0630 GMT.
US crude futures for July delivery fell 0.09 percent, or 3 cents, to $ 66.61 a barrel.
