Oil rises, ignoring the increase of oil drilling in America
Follow - up / ... Oil prices rose in trading Monday, ignoring the increase in oil rigs in the United States of America for the first time in three weeks.
US energy companies added five oil refineries in the week ending July 6, bringing the total to 863, Baker Hughes said on Friday.
By 0530 GMT, London Brent crude futures for September delivery rose 0.61 percent, or 47 cents, to $ 77.58 a barrel.
US crude futures for the delivery of August delivery rose 0.51 percent, or 38 cents, to $ 74.18 a barrel.
In a report released in June, the US Energy Information Administration expects US oil production to rise from 9.4 million bpd in 2017 to 10.8 million bpd in 2018 and 11.8 million bpd in 2019. 1
