TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has banned direct talks with the United States, rejecting an offer by US President Donald Trump last month to hold talks with Tehran without preconditions, state television reported.
"I forbid any talks with America," Khamenei was quoted as saying. "America will never honor its commitments in talks ... it only offers hollow words ..."
