European and American drug associations have sent a letter to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman warning him of the dangers posed by the continuation of diplomatic differences between the Kingdom and Germany.

The letter dated June 12, which has not yet been announced and obtained by Reuters, a copy of it, that the continued restrictions imposed by the Kingdom on German medicines and medical devices may have a negative impact on Saudi patients, and the possibility of doubling investment in Kingdom in the future.

"The talk is not a total boycott, but the health sector is suffering a lot of losses. German health care companies have been struggling to work in the kingdom for the past six months," he told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.

The representative of the German company Siemens Healthineers specialized in the production of medical devices of the Agency that its business in Saudi Arabia affected by the dispute, adding that the company resorted to the US authorities to seek help in containing the crisis.

Drug syndicates declined to give further comments, but German officials told Reuters that drug producers had not received a response from Saudi Arabia to their message and had not seen any improvement since they were sent.

Saudi authorities refused to comment on the case.
