(Baghdad: al-Furat News) The Iraqi General Company for Iraqi Ports announced Wednesday, near the arrival of the giant vessel "Ever Yossef".
"The ship is scheduled to dock on the 27th berth in the northern port of Umm Qasr on Thursday loaded with about 4900 containers," Aziz al-Obeidi, director general of the company, .
"The ship is 285 meters long and plunged into the water more than 10 meters, and its width is forty meters, carrying the flag of Panama," he said.
Al-Obeidi said that "it is hoped that the arrival of giant ships with different loads to Iraqi ports during the coming period."
