Sadr threatens to resort to opposition in parliament

The leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr on Saturday threatened to resort to the opposition in parliament, calling for the formation of a government serving the citizen through the ministries of technocrats.
Al-Sadr, in a tweet on his account at the social networking site Twitter, declined to return to the quotas and the "Al-Attar mix".

The leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr on Saturday rejected the seven things in the formation of the next federal government, the most prominent partisan party, otherwise he will resort to the opposition under the dome of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.

"There will be no return to quotas, no return to sectarianism, no return to ethnicity, no return to corruption, no return to economic institutions, no return to the Attar package," Sadr said in a statement on the platform of the social networking site Twitter.

"We have returned, we will not share them, and we will join them, but we will oppose them through the parliament," Sadr said.

"It is a government with an Iraqi decision through the ministries of the (independent) technocrat," he said.
