(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Federal Supreme Court decided to postpone the appeal against the unconstitutionality of extracting the Kurdistan region oil from its territory and export it directly to the ninth of next month.
"The Federal Supreme Court held its session under the chairmanship of Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud and the presence of all members of the judges, and considered the appeal against the unconstitutionality of extracting the Kurdistan region oil from its territory and export directly," the spokesman of the court Ayas al-Samuk said in a statement received by the agency.
He added that "the court session was devoted to the consideration of the experts' report," noting that "the court noted that the experts did not submit a consolidated report of what they reached, but each gave a different opinion."
Samok pointed out that "the court postponed the hearing to the ninth of December next to enable experts to complete their task together to submit a consolidated report 10 days before the date of the next meeting."
