The oil ministry announced on Saturday that its oil product distribution company distributed 10,000 liters of white oil to families affected by floods and rain in the province of Sharqat.
The minister said in a statement read by "Economy News" that the Minister of Oil Thamer Ghadhban instructed "to the Chamber of operations of the ministry by alerting the human and technical effort of the oil formations in the northern, central and southern provinces to provide the required assistance to cities affected by floods and rain, including the province of Sharqat and some cities in Nineveh And Salahuddin. "
The statement added that "oil formations have been participating since the beginning of the crisis in providing the required assistance to the citizens of those cities, the company distributes oil products and mechanisms of the company to provide the required assistance in coordination with the national effort in this."
The statement pointed out "the distribution of 10,000 liters of white oil to the citizens of the province of Shrkat, in addition to providing in kind assistance of blankets, tents and food and necessary needs and under the direct supervision of the Director General of the company."
"The other oil companies have put the mechanisms and equipment ready to move to provide the required assistance to all cities of Iraq from north to south," he said.
