Shafaq News / Mohammed Salman, a spokesman for the Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Mohammed Halbusi, on Sunday, the fact that the parliament held a meeting on Monday to vote on the completion of the cabinet cabins.
"To this moment, the Presidency of the House of Representatives has not received any notice from Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, which is about his arrival tomorrow, Monday, to supplement the ministerial cab," Salman told Ashqaf News.
He added that "the parliament, also did not decide to this moment to hold a meeting on Monday, he is waiting for a notice from Abdul Mahdi to proceed to hold the meeting."
The Iraqi parliament was unable, during its meeting on Saturday, to reach a compromise formula on the remaining ministries in the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, and devoted a session to be held on Monday to resolve this matter.
On October 25, parliament voted to give confidence to 14 ministers in the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi out of 22 ministers.
Some political forces refused to vote on Abdul Mahdi's 8 candidates because of political differences, most notably the defense and interior ministers.
