The commander of the armed forces, Adel Abdul Mahdi, on Sunday, that will call the military leaders referred to retirement that needed.
"The experience of the security forces and their defeat to Da'ish has impressed the world with the exceptional battles it has fought and won," Abdul Mahdi said in a statement to his office during a meeting with retired military commanders, praising the commanders and officers who are retired because of age. After a role full of heroism and courage and their professional career, which will continue generation after generation to defend Iraq and its people, and the accumulated field experience. "
He added that "the end of the service of this constellation because of legal age does not mean the cessation of their services or to benefit from their experience, but does not mean that they can not be called again if necessary, as demonstrated by previous experience."
"The forces of all kinds and formations of the army, police, popular mobilization, and the army of Beshmerga and the brave officers and fighters will continue to achieve the achievements and the performance of its national duty with all strength and sincerity and dedication." Ending / 25
