Al-Suhail said in a statement that 'the prime minister is required to appoint the director of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/286/%D9%87%D9%8A%D8%A6%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D8%B2%D8%A7%D9%87%D8%A9]the Integrity Commission[/url] because the position of the president and the deputy are vacant and therefore will disrupt the work of the body'.
He added that 'the incumbent must be competent and experienced and not be suspected of corruption and be an independent personality so that he can work freely away from political influences'.
The head of the Integrity Commission, Izzat Tawfiq Jafar, died last week, a car accident in the province of Dohuk.
