    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - 
    The National Parliamentary Bloc on Sunday called on the government to deter pressure and interference by the US embassy in the decisions of the movements of senior officers and security leaders, stressing that if these interventions are not stopped, we will resort to hosting the general commander and the foreign minister to parliament. 
    "Most of the political forces do not accept any interference by foreign missions, including the Washington mission, in the internal affairs, especially in the dismissal and appointment of security chiefs," MP Hussein al-Aqabi said in a statement. 
    "The intervention of the US embassy on the issue of the referral of the commander of Nineveh operations, Najm al-Jubouri, to retire is a flagrant violation and the government must deter him and call the US ambassador to Baghdad to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to lodge an official protest and not to repeat interference with internal affairs."
