Iraq has warned of a dangerous plan guided by the terrorist Daesh.
"Iraq has given Ankara special files for nine ISIS leaders, including senior ISIS financiers," the director of military intelligence at the Ministry of Defense, Major General Saad al-Allaq, was quoted as saying by the Daily Telegraph newspaper.
"Among these are a group of senior ISIS financiers, who have enormous funds and form cells in Turkey," Allaq said.
He added, "Many of the leaders of ISIS managed to escape from the last IS strongholds in Baghouz, eastern Syria after bribing elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), backed by the West."
"ISIS prisoners are planning escape from prisons and camps in different parts of Syria and Iraq," Allaq said.
"ISIS leaders, who have large sums of money in their possession, are now in Turkey and are planning to return the organization," the paper said.
