Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the National Alliance, Ayad Allawi, send a letter to the High Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, demanding him to intervene in the political and security affairs.The official spokesperson of the National Alliance, Mayson al-Damloji, reported in a press statement ”Allawi sent the letter to Sistani to demand him to intervene to stop the deterioration in policy process and security situation alike.””Allawi demanded Sistani to stop the monopoly of authority practiced by the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki,” the statement concluded.
