The Ministry of Planning announced, on Thursday, the resumption of suspended projects in the past years, pointing out that their number reaches more than five thousand projects.
The ministry’s spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, said, “The number of projects stalled due to financial and security conditions since 2014 has now reached more than 5,000 projects,” noting that “the ministry’s plan for the current year is to resume work on relatively completed projects or Discontinued projects. "
He pointed out that "there are some projects that have achieved advanced achievement rates in the past years," noting that "the conditions the country went through prevented them from being completed, such as sewage and infrastructure projects, electricity, health and education."
Al-Hindawi added, "This year, we intend to complete ten hospitals with a capacity of 400 beds in ten governorates." Ended 29 / A 43
